Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums (QM) and Isha Ambani of India’s Mumbai-based Reliance Industries have signed a five-year strategic partnership between the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) and QM.

The event took place in Doha at the Qatari National Museum. QM and NMACC, who share a belief in the power of education to inspire creativity and the significance of cross-cultural exchange, are developing programs to improve early childhood education together. While centered on the needs of young learners, these initiatives also equip teachers and volunteers with new tools, materials, and playful methodologies that empower them to innovate in the classroom.
Vision for Creativity and Cultural Exchange

Implementation Across India with Reliance Foundation
In India, NMACC and the Reliance Foundation (RF) will collaborate to put the program into action in multiple areas. Masterclasses and hands-on mentoring will be provided by QM specialists, including Dadu, Qatar's Children's Museum experts. In accordance with the Center's mission to bring the best of the world to India and share the best of India with the world, each program will be tailored to various learning environments. The Center's overall commitment to education and the arts will be bolstered by this.

Expanding Learning to Underserved Communities
In addition, QM and NMACC will work together to develop additional projects that encourage creativity, empathy, and discovery. These programmes will be implemented in schools, anganwadis, and community centres across India, including in rural and underserved regions.
Dadu Children' Museum and the Light Atelier Programme
Acting Director of Dadu, Children's Museum of Qatar Maha Al Hajri stated, "We are proud to launch this collaboration as part of Dadu’s Museum-in-Residence program, bringing the Light Atelier to new audiences in India." Reflecting Dadu's commitment to play-based learning, the Light Atelier is a hands-on, immersive learning environment for children aged three to seven. This Museum-in-Residence program lets us share Dadu's method outside of our walls and create meaningful cultural exchanges with partners like the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre as part of our learning-through-play philosophy.

At NMACC, the three venues for the performing arts are the grand 2,000-seat Grand Theatre, the cutting-edge 250-seat Studio Theatre, and the dynamic 125-seat Cube. In addition, there is the Art House, a four-story gallery featuring rotating works by international and Indian artists of international and international renown.
